Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority is responsible for creating and caring for some of the most significant harbour foreshore land in Sydney, including Darling Harbour and The Rocks. We are committed to leading the way in innovative and environmentally sustainable place management. Water conservation is a critical factor for us in achieving this goal.
The KISSS product was first trialled on lawns outside the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay and amongst the palms and lawn area at Dawes Point adjacent to the Park Hyatt.
The success of these trials along with the quality of delivery and professionalism of the team led to the recent installation of this solution across the whole of Tumbalong Park at Darling Harbour. The new sub-surface system is completely automated and requires minimal maintenance in addition to its superior water saving benefits.
Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority will be implementing further KISSS installations across its precincts over the next year.

We had the KISSS system installed in our oval in December 2000.
It was installed without having to trench the whole field, and it has now greened up well. The kids can play whilst the field is being irrigated and we can also fertigate. It’s automated and there’s a real labour saving in not having to move sprinklers anymore.
